Overview

Chaos Communication Congress (CCC) is annual conference organized by the Chaos Computer Club. The congress features a variety of lectures and workshops on technical and political issues related to Security, Cryptography, Privacy and online Freedom of Speech. It is one of the largest events of this kind, similar in attendance to DEFCON and Black Hat. CCC has been running since 1984, and is held every December in Germany. The events are abbreviated "C3", and prefixed with the enumerated event number, so the 2017 event was known as 34C3. In 2015, CCC attracted 13,000 people.
